David Fraser, CFI, A&P

Flight Instructor/FAA-Certified Mechanic

David Fraser fell in love with aviation and the friendly skies at a very early age. From the time his father took him to his first air show at Burlington-Alamance Regional Airport, David knew that he wanted to pursue a career in aviation someday.

After graduating high school, David enlisted in the U.S. Navy, where he served aboard the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower as a mechanic. Following his enlistment in the Navy, he began to pursue his passion for aviation by earning his private pilot certificate, and through the encouragement of his aviation mentor, also earned his instrument, multi-engine, commercial, A&P mechanic, and CFI certificates.

In addition to providing flight instruction, David currently serves at Elon Aviation in the aircraft maintenance department as an FAA-Certified A&P mechanic. He wishes to use his passion for aviation and life experiences to help others learn to fly and reach their aviation goals.

Outside of work, David enjoys camping, outdoor activities, woodworking, playing music, and spending time with friends and family.
