Jacob Faircloth, CFI
Since taking his first flight in 2009, Jacob Faircloth has been hooked on flying. While studying at UNC-Chapel Hill, Jacob earned his private and commercial certificates, as well as his instrument and multi-engine ratings.
While working at Horace Williams Airport in Chapel Hill, Jacob became even more enamored with aviation, spending hours talking with pilots and listening to their interesting life stories.
After graduating from UNC with a degree in Peace, War and Defense, Jacob started flying for a Part 135 operation, flying long days over the ocean with marine mammal researchers. Flying both SIC and PIC, Jacob quickly learned that he wanted to pursue a career in aviation.
A native of Alamance County, Jacob is an avid history buff and antiques collector. On weekends, you will often see him at local auction sales or rummaging through antique shops. Jacob also enjoys traveling and spending time with family, friends, and his Australian Cattle Dog, Gypsy.
