Josh Chandler, CFII, MEI

Josh graduated from the University of Tennessee in December 2011 with a B.S. in Food Science (Microbiology Studies). After college, he worked as a research and developer for Leclerc Foods but switched career paths to transportation. He worked for CSX railroad as a manager with a territory from Cleveland, Ohio, to Buffalo, N.Y., before being promoted to the Terminal operations in Collinwood Yard. Although this was a good job, nothing could trump his love of flying.

After earning his private pilot certificate at Burke-Lakefront airport in Cleveland, Josh decided to finish his Instrument, Commercial Single engine and Multi-engine, CFI, CFII, and MEI with ATP flight school in Raleigh, N.C. His dream as a kid was to always be a pilot, so he did it. Josh's advice is if you truly want to fly and it is what makes you happy, do it.
